Manipulator or Enabler? It doesn't really matter...

No person is ALL good or ALL bad.
In ANY relationship, whether it's a partner, friend, lover, parent, sibling, or co-worker... there are ALWAYS two active participants who contribute dynamics to the relationship.
For example: an enabler is no better than a manipulator. They are BOTH unloving. God/Source/Divine doesn't see the enabler as "better" than the manipulator.
I know it can be hard to wrap the mind around that because we have all been taught (inadvertently) that people who manipulate are worse than people who are enabling the manipulation.
This is a giant horse pill to swallow for some, and it won't go down easy.
But it is the truth.
The enabler is unloving to the self.
The manipulator is unloving to others.
Both self and other are the same in the ONE. In God/Source/Divine, there is no difference between self and other. It is all one body. All one energy. All one essence expressing itself as individuals.
Because of this, if you treat yourself poorly because you enable lower behaviors, you are no different than the manipulator. It's just that a manipulator is "generally" easier to place blame upon.
BUT - You cannot have a manipulator without an enabler. And you cannot have an enabler without a manipulator.
We ALL have the capacity to do BOTH enabling and manipulating. And we all do BOTH from time to time, whether we see it or not.
The point is to become aware of where we do both behaviors.
We must then become responsible for our individual parts to play in each relationship...to admit and own where we have manipulated AND where we have enabled.
We must not deflect, blame, or shame onto another, but instead turn the focus inward to ourselves. To see where we have contributed and change our behavior into that of love.
UNCONDITIONAL love for self and other.
Awareness of your part to play is only one aspect.
Changing behavior must follow.
This IS part of awakening.
